Chert is a third-party keyboard that facilitates the typing of special characters from Alaska's Native languages. It offers a wide range of characters not readily available on Apple's default keyboards. Users have the flexibility to customize their keyboards by selecting specific special characters relevant to the languages they use.

Utilizing a press-and-hold approach similar to typing accented characters like é and ü on Apple's default keyboard ensures seamless integration with the English language, allowing for effortless language switching without the need to change keyboards.

Chert encompasses all the special characters associated with Alaska's Native languages, enhancing communication possibilities across various platforms, such as emails, texts, Facebook posts, and tweets.
